Can now put up the toppers I made for Sharon and Nick as their wedding day has come and gone. I don't show any of my figurines until after the wedding because I would hate to be the one to spoil the surprise of what the bride's outfit looks like. Plus of course a lot of grooms also like to keep their outfits a secret until the big day.

I hope Sharon and Nick had a truly magical wedding day and I shall now look forward to hearing about it and seeing photographs of their big day.

Fimo Wedding Cake Toppers

These asian wedding cake toppers were made for the couples reception. I copied the complete outfits from photographs sent to me and each tiny jewel was placed into the clay in the same pattern as the bride's dress.

Have just had a lovely two weeks break from toppers and not ashamed to admit that it was nice to not be at my craft table during that time. I used the time to catch up on a moutain of paperwork and even managed to get away for a few days to Portland Bill in Weymouth.

Now its time to dust off the cobwebs from my crafting table and get back into making those personalied cake toppers.

I have a range of different ones do to over the next couple of months including a tractor, a sailing boat, a double decker bus, a horse and a motorbike- plus numerous dogs and cats. Thankfully every set of toppers I make are different and totally unique to each couple - this makes it a lot more fun for me to do as would not like to make the same figurines day in, day out.

Below are just a few of the toppers I have done over the past months, most of them I could not post until after the wedding had taken place - as we all know the bride's dress is top secret and I would hate to be the one that spoilt the element of surprise from her partner and wedding guests.
